In VS At: Understanding the Basic Concept

In and at both are prepositions.  A preposition is a word that links noun, Pronoun, or noun phrase to some other part of the sentence. Today, we understand the main difference between In VS At and how to use it correctly.

In and At यह दोनों संज्ञा, सर्वनाम को लिंक यानी जोड़ने मे काम आते है.

Using them and learning them can be tricky in the beginning. A lot of people get confused when it comes to correct preposition at the correct place.  One Such pair is At and IN.

 Let’s discuss the difference between both of them and how are they used?

Usage of At

It is used for a specific time and place.

Such as:

She will meet me at 12 pm

 Used to indicate a specific place

 There is a party at the clubhouse

Usage of In

Used for unspecific times during a day, month, season, year:

For example:

She reads newspaper in the morning

 The new session will start in April

 Used to indicate a shape, color, or size:

This painting is mostly in blue.

The students stood in a circle.

Used to express while doing something:

In preparing for the final report, we revised the tone three times.

Used to indicate a belief, opinion, interest, or feeling:

I believe in God.

I believe in True Love
